Estere Nature Cosmetics Solid Shampoo with Chamomile Review

Estere Nature Cosmetics Solid Shampoo with Chamomile

Ok. Not gonna beat around the bush here… I absolutely love Estere Nature Cosmetics Solid Shampoo with Chamomile!!! 📢 This is absolute perfection for my hair! And it can be used as a body soap. 🧼

I love everything about this natural solid shampoo for dry and sensitive skin. It blew me away since the first time I tried it and I ordered seconds and thirds since. But yeah… Let’s look at it a little more closely.

Estere Nature Cosmetics Solid Shampoo with Chamomile

Ingredients

Estere Nature Cosmetics Solid Shampoo with Chamomile looks fantastic from the ingredient perspective. No colouring, perfume, sulfates, parabens, etc. It’s vegan and cruelty-free.

The only thing that might be an issue according to the ingredient checkers is that some ingredients might not be great for oily and acne-prone skin or sensitive skin, ironically. I personally had no problems.

Here’s the list:

Sodium Coco-Sulfate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glyceryl Stearate, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter, Aqua, Citric Acid, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein PG-Propyl Silanetriol, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate

Smell and Consistency

Well… It’s solid! Kind of grainy. The smell? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I smell nothing. No chamomile whatsoever. Probably one of the most neutral things I’ve used in my life or something. I actually like that about Estere Nature Cosmetics Solid Shampoo with Chamomile because I found that I prefer less perfumey stuff.

Using It on Hair

I get my hair and the solid shampoo wet and rub my head with the shampoo bar. Then I put it away and continue rubbing it into my hair and scalp using my hands and wash it off. Done! I have short hair, so that’s just the way I like to use it and it works great for me. A direct approach basically!

Estere Nature Cosmetics Solid Shampoo with Chamomile gets pretty foamy and I only need to use it once. For whatever reason, I often felt like I needed to wash my hair twice when I was using other products. Now, one wash is perfect! It also lasts for quite a long time compared to some other solid shampoo I’ve tried in the past.

This natural solid shampoo leaves my hair soft and shiny, and my hair isn’t getting as oily as it used to get for the first time in forever! I didn’t even think this was possible. That’s one of the main reasons I love Estere Nature Cosmetics Solid Shampoo with Chamomile.

Using It on the Body

This natural solid shampoo can feel kinda rough and scratchy on some body parts, but I must admit that my back appreciated the scratchiness. But yeah… Best not to use it directly on more sensitive body parts or just use your hands by letting it foam up in your palms and then wash your body. Even so… I must admit that my palms weren’t huge fans of the rough surface either.

Estere Nature Cosmetics Solid Shampoo with Chamomile doubles great as a body soap, but I personally prefer to use it simply as a shampoo for my hair only. I did get a metal tin for it so I can easily take it with me on trips and don’t have to pack other stuff. However, using it as everything means it will be used up faster.

Using this natural solid shampoo as a body soap just felt very natural. It didn’t dry my skin out and it did what it was supposed to do, which was get me clean!

Packaging

Estere Nature Cosmetics Solid Shampoo with Chamomile comes in a box, which you can recycle. No plastic there. The solid shampoo itself isn’t covered with anything, plastic or paper. It’s meant to be taken out and used immediately. The packaging also has some holes in it so you can see the product or sniff it, I guess.

Price

I’m pretty sure I bought Estere Nature Cosmetics Solid Shampoo with Chamomile when it was on sale, but even when it’s not on sale, I think the price is great for what it is and for how long you can use it. Especially if you’re only using it as a solid shampoo and not a body soap.

It is cheaper to get from the brand directly though, but considering shipping prices from another country, it’s probably still cheaper to shop at the store that has it here locally.

This is true in February 2025:

Price at Nula Shop: €9,50
Price at Estere Nature Cosmetics website: €8,50

Where It’s Made
